to run a boat in Florida.

Preconditions are:

• Drivers license 
• A briefing about terms and conditions
• You must be 25 years or older and have some experience with boating
• Effective Jan 1st, 2010, boat operators who were born on or after Jan 1st, 1988, must have a Florida Boating Safety Education Identification Card to operate a motorboat with a 10 hp or more. Operators over the age of 31 are exempt from this requirement. Therefore, if you are between the age of 25 to 30, you must have this card in possession to rent.
